Safety valve for presses

This diploma thesis deals with the design of the safety pneumatic valve. This valve is a part of the two-handed control system device which is used with mechanical press. Operational calculation of important parts and strength control of the most stressed construction part is done in this paper. Further the calculation defining leaking of compressed air from one of the chamber of valve is presented. The result of this calculation is the time dependence of the chambre pressure. Partial drawing documentation which contains production drawings of the main parts of valve and the drawing of the assembly is a part of the appendix.
